I have a strong passion for promoting the impact nature has on our health.  In today's world it's so important that we all have access to outdoor spaces that improve our sense of wellbeing.

As an RHS-qualified horticulturalist, my designs have a naturalistic feel with a strong focus on the experience the plants convey, and I invest significant time in selecting the most appropriate plants to suit your space, your location, your depth of knowledge, and preferred maintenance level.

The impact our gardens have on wildlife and resources is equally important, and consideration of water use and reservation, drainage, and improving pollinator populations features in all my designs.

I have cultivated gardens across the country since 2006, from the sunny dry chalk of East Anglia to the clay of the Midlands, and trained under the tutelage of Professional Horticulturalist Tony Davies (RHS Gold medal winner, RHS Examiner, RHS Qualifications Advisor, and National Collection holder of Gingko Bilobas).  I have also studied No-Dig gardening with its original pioneer, Charles Dowding.  My formal RHS training was undertaken on-site at Coventry University's Ryton Organic Gardens, with welcome opportunities to work with the on-site National Collection.

My areas of knowledge include the following:

  • Plant identification

  • Specialist Pruning

  • Garden Design

  • Sustainable gardening practices

  • Organic gardening methods

  • Propagation

  • Border care

  • Container gardening

  • Vegetable gardening

"Every garden is an opportunity to balance beauty, function, and ecological integrity"

Having started off growing kitchen produce, I have been gardening for almost a decade alongside Nicola.  My passion lies in nature, in particular promoting wildlife and management of resources.

I have significant experience from a career in the building and construction industry, and now advise on selection, pricing and sourcing of landscaping materials for all of our projects.  I also support with surveys, and planting programmes.
