Our Design Approach

Booking

Consultation
We start out with a visit and a conversation about you. What do you want from the garden? How do you want to feel when you're in it? What is it you need from your garden? We will discuss some important factors to help us understand your aspirations and any constraints such as time, budget, and maintenance ability. we will also assess the site to understand the soil, the aspect, the climate and outlook. We will take measurements, and lots of photographs. Following our visit we will submit a project brief that outlines our preliminary design suggestions, and confirm costings for the subsequent stages.
Cost: £150

Design Concept Proposal
We will create a bespoke design that will meet your needs and aspirations. You will receive a 2D layout plan to-scale, with dimensions and a single 3D visualisation. This provides the foundation for discussions with any landscaping company of your choice, or if you choose to install the garden yourself. It is also great for those who would like to spread the process out over time. Up to two minor revisions are included in this fee - any further revisions would be charged at an hourly rate.
Cost: Ranges from £350 (up to 100sqm garden) to £750 (an acre)

Planting Plan
A comprehensive plan including layered, seasonal variation, detailing all plants recommended for the design, including specific variety and quantity of each. A table of maintenance requirements will also be provided. With this information you are free to source the plants yourself, or we can undertake this on your behalf.
Cost: Ranges from £400 (up to 100sqm garden) to £645 (an acre)

Project Management Services
We will utilise our decades of project management experience to ensure all elements of our finalised design are implemented, liaising with your contractors to ensure that any obstacles incurred along the way are resolved.
Cost: Varies depending on complexity of project
